North Tarrant County Special Olympics
Bingo
Bingo will begin again at the Knights of
Columbus Hall in January on the third Thursday of each month from 6:30
– 8 pm. (The third Thursday of January 2010 is the 21st.)
Basketball
Basketball practice starts on
Wednesday, Jan. 6th at Meadow Creek Elementary, 3001 Harwood Rd. in
Bedford. Please attend the same practice (6:00 or 7:30) that you
attended last year. New athletes are asked to come to the 6:00 practice
for evaluation and placement. Practices: Wednesdays 6-7:15 &
7:30-9 Saturdays 9-10:15a & 10:30-noon .
Basketball Competitions
Area 11 Competition: 2/27/10 at Arlington Martin High School. Classifications: 2/18/10 at Lamar High School in Arlington.
Cycling & Track
Cycling & track will begin in March.
National Special Olympics

years.

Special
Friends is an informal organization of people with intellectual
disabilities who enjoy having fun! The people in Special
Friends participate in organizations such as Special Olympics, Knights
of Columbus Bingo, and other activities.
The
purpose of this site is to share information among Special Friends
participants and to celebrate their accomplishments and successes by
sharing their experiences. Learn more about player participation!
